Location

This beautiful lilac tree is in my backyard.

Time

It was taken mid-afternoon, not sure exactly the time.

Lighting

I remember it being a clear day.

Equipment

Handheld Canon 70D.

Inspiration

I saw the purple of the flowers from my window, and so I went out to capture it.

Editing

Very little - some dodge/burn.

In my camera bag

I'm not a professional by any means, so my current equipment load is fairly light: Canon 70D body, 3 lenses (50mm standard, 18-55mm and 55-250mm kit lenses), lens hoods, etc.

Feedback

Shoot what grabs your eye. I love lilacs and purple, but seeing this in the window made me say to myself "This is a moment in time for these flowers."
