This photo was taken in my neighbourhood in the city of Yorkton, Saskatchewan

Time

This photo was taken 2015:08:14 22:19:24 during an amazing prairie thunderstorm.

Lighting

They say that each bolt of lightning can contain up to one billion volts of electricity.

Equipment

Canon EOS 7D Tokina 16-50mm ƒ/7.1 16.0 mm 17sec iso100 using a remote shutter on a Velbon tripod.

Inspiration

I have always been inspired by mother natures amazing beauty and power and lightning puts a charge into my inspiration.

Editing

This shot was processed with Software - iPhoto 9.6.1

I normally carry my Canon 7D with Tokina 16~50mm f/2.8, Canon 24~105mm f/4, Canon 300mm f/4
