After a year of planning to hike the top of Pouakai, we finally had a chance to get to this Tarn during the easter weekend. The weather forecast was really good the day before but the moment i woke up, the weather changed drastically to thunderstorms. We risked the hike as the weather will ease down before sunset, and so it did, at least for a few minutes the mountain showed up.The next morning, i woke up early and checked how it looked like outside our tent, it was misty and cloudy and seems like there's no chance to capture the sunrise. But an hour after, the clouds started clearing up and it was just the perfect moment fo me to run down this tarn and took a couple of shots.:)
Will definitely hike back on winter when the mountain is covered with snow...
