This was without a doubt the most memorable thunderstorm that I have ever experienced, something that is truly unrepeatable. On this night in September, 2014, South Australia experienced a thunderstorm that produced over 80,000 strikes across the state, it passed right over Lake Bonney and it had me completely gobsmacked for the entire show.

As this was my first experience shooting a lightning storm, I was hoping that I had my settings right and that the images were turning out okay, I didn't have a chance to check the back of my camera due to the high intensity of the storm.
