Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my dining room which I have used previously as a mini studio as I practice Still Life Photo setups since I have long ago given up on cooking as I have NO talent for that and thought I would put the space to better use!

Time

in the afternoon, after my mandatory nap time! dude! I am retired, I don't keep a clock anymore.

Lighting

Just one studio light to the left of the camera

Equipment

I shot this with my Sony a850, my primary camera, hand held with a Tamron 28-200 mm lens which is my walk around lens, no filter, no flash

Inspiration

I am collecting old camera equipment and thought about the advertisements I saw as a kid in Life magazine and wanted to duplicate something of that order!

Editing

not really, but developed it in B+W

In my camera bag

Sony a850, my Tamron 28-200 which is an awesome lens and I carry only that when I am out an about...also 3 Musketeers candy bar or Snickers, Water, that's it....

Feedback

the best way to learn this hobby is just to shoot. The equipment does not take the picture, you do, shoot and shoot often.
