Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the South Rim at the Grand Canyon.

Time

This was about 11 am,

Lighting

The lighting was natural. Camera: Canon EOS 50D Aperture: f/7.1 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/320 Focal Length: 109/1

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS 50D Aperture: f/7.1 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/320

Inspiration

I love to observe the people. I was just there where all those people were standing. So I knew exactly the feeling they had as they approached that area. I was overwhelmed and mesmerized by the beauty. Pictures do no justice for the Grand Canyon.

Editing

This is a raw image from the camera.

In my camera bag

Canon EOS 50D with multiple lenses.

Feedback

I am also an artist, there for every time I look thru the lens, it is a canvas for me. So I try to make sure everything is balanced, and be responsible for everything in the frame. For me I would give advice, to try to see things in a perspective that you normally won't have. I crawled to the near edge to capture this photo. To me it was important to capture other people standing where I first saw my first view of this epic sight!
