Behind The Lens
Location
I took this at a school here nearby in Chennai while work was going on. I'm an amateur photographer with photography as a hobby. I take some time off my activities to take photos.Time
Guess it was around 4pm in the evening. I reduced the exposure in order to capture the drama in the image. To kindle a curiosity within the viewer.Lighting
This was completely lit by the light from the welding. No external reflectors or light sets were used. It was a completely candid shot.Equipment
I used a Nikon D-5100 with a 70-300mm AF-S DX VR lens. Shot by hand with natural lighting.Inspiration
It seemed like a really dramatic scene. Showcasing the power of something as "trivial" like electricity have the power to melt metals and join them together. "Trivial" because it is something we take for granted everyday. We really need to realize it's true potential.Editing
Nope. Pure from the camera. In my camera bag
My bag is pretty simple. I carry a D3200 with the kit 18-55mm lens. I carry the charger, wires for transferring. A low grade polarising filter. Remote shutter release. A handy Sony cybershot point and shoot camera.Feedback
Nothing that I can think of. As I myself am just a learning photographer.
