I took the shot on Bali early morning of January 1st, 2001. Indeed, it was the very first sunrise in XXI century. Film camera Contax 159mm was used,

Location

This photo was taken on April 27, 2008, from a bridge over Moskva River. Landscape Program mode used for that particular shot. Being an enthisiast photographer, I do not carry around extra equipment except the camera, old Canon EOS 40D with EFS 17-85mm zoom lens. Original file is 2.11 MB. There are plenty of spots to take photos of the Kremlin on a bright spring day.

Inspiration

This view reminds me of my younger days when they sold chocolate candies packed in a box with a view of Kremlin and Moskva River. Those candies are not availble since many years... But the `Kremlin and river are still there.
