Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Normandie, France. The Mont Saint Michel abbey is a really interesting place. The tides around the abbey are amazing. An incredible nature spectacle.

Time

During this trip, all the days where cloudy, grey...but the day we visit the Mont Saint Michel was an incredible suuny day. It was August, 23 at 11:11 AM

Lighting

My goal was to capture the magnificence of the place. The light was perfect for my point. Probably, the effect with nigt light will be more interesting. I have to come back :-)

Equipment

My camera at this moment was an Olympus E-500, 16-55 mm

Inspiration

I visited this place for the first time when I was a child. I only want to take the photo to remember my memories.

Editing

I usually never post-process my photos. I'm a too lazy :-) And in this photo, I follow my rule.

In my camera bag

Because I only take photos to enjoy, my equipment is a cheap one. A Canon 1100D with a couple of lenses (16-55 mm and 70-200 mm). And now I've added a Tamron 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD in other to eliminate weight.

Feedback

I don't believe I have the level to give advices to anyone. It was just a question of luck. I'm still learning.
