Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the beautiful and paceful village named Puigcerdà, at the north of Catalonia, my country. One of the most visited areas of the village is their awesome lake.

Time

I'm so lazy... It was taken at midday, about 12:30 pm

Lighting

I try to add a different atmosphere than the original one. Jusnt with some curves in Photoshop.

Equipment

Normally, when I'm out of the city, I used to use my Nikon 1V1 because it's portable, small and lightweight. I always shoot with a pancake lens, 10mm f2.8

Inspiration

I'm an addict of panoramic photography, I take panoramic photos everywhere I go. It's my passion.

Editing

Yes, as I explained before, normally I add curves to improve the contrast, sometimes increase the saturation and in this case, duplicate the sky and put it on the water with the Multiply layer style.

In my camera bag

Adventure gear: Nikon 1V1 / 10mm f2.8 / 30-110 f4.5 - 5.6 / Pixi tripod (Manfrotto) / Compact Light Tripod (Manfrotto) / Set of filters (ND, Polarizer, Close Up...) / Batteries and Memory Cards / Cleanning Set Professional gear: Nikon D300s / 10-20mm f3.5 - 5.6 / 35mm f1.8 / tripod 190XPROB (Manfrotto) / Ball Head (Manfrotto) / Set of filters (ND, Polarizer, Close Up...) / Batteries and Memory Cards / Cleanning Set / Triggers / Nikon Flash SB800

Feedback

With many years at my back shooting panoramic photography, it's easy for me now. When I started with this kind of photo I used to do the typical mistakes, don't repeat part of the image on the next photo, don't edit the horizon line, etc.
