This is the scene you see when you first drive from the Keni Peninsula into Homer Alaska. Breathtaking isn't it?

Trust what presents itself in front of your lens. Grab it at that moment because lighting can change very quickly!

Location
This picture was taken in Homer Alaska. Lookout point is elevated to offer visitors a wonderful view of "the spit" below.Time
Mid-afternoon.Lighting
Slightly overcast. It rains 24 inches a year in Homer AK. Some of the best lighting is in overcast times.Equipment
Kodak point and shoot.Inspiration
The beauty of it all. That it has several points of interest. The snow called mountains, the two tone colors of the blue water, deep green trees and the houses. Very lucky shot!Editing
No, haven't entered that level of photography yet.In my camera bag
Now that I have advanced to a digital SLR camera- my camera bag has two sets of lens's. Extra battery, auto charger, lens cleaner and extra SD cards.Feedback
Keep in mind what your shooting. Ask questions before the shot. Is it interesting? Does it have several points of interest within the shot? Is the lighting good? Does it tell a story?
