Behind The Lens

Location

In with the snakes, reptile enclosure in berlin zoo

Time

This was taken at the tail end of a long days shooting around the city, the zoo and aquarium. A fine time of contemplation to share and a stare of with this snake

Lighting

.

Equipment

No tripod, no flash, just a camera and a lucky eye

Inspiration

I was stood looking into the eyes of a 'dangerous animal' but i didn't see anger, just angst.

Editing

Doubling up on the layers to help bring focus to the face, eyes and rattle.

In my camera bag

Most of the time just keep it simple with a nikon5100 and and 18-55 VR lens. If im going out for a perticuler shot ill take a tripod but i prefer the freedom offer by just a camera, maybe an ND 2 and 4 and who can forget a little pack flof pruit pastels for energy

Feedback

Patience, patience and keepying eye to eye on the critter in question
