Behind The Lens

Location

One of my favourite places in the world, and where I feel fantastically free and happy, also where a lot of my childhood is based .... At our Truffle Farm, in Northern Italy on my little sisters bedroom floor.

Time

It was a cloudy mid-day in a way that made the light seem soft and white. (perfect for photos in my opinion :] )

Lighting

We live off-grid so there was no artificial lighting what-so-ever, there is only one window in that room, so there wasn't that much light in the corners as you can see in the photo. this is one of my favourite photos because of the way the lighting portrays.

Equipment

I only used a LUMIX DMW-BMB9E which is the only camera I have, I also used a basic tripod and I set my camera on a ten second timer.

Inspiration

I was just experimenting so there was no seriously deep concentration behind it, and that is one of the reasons why I am smiling, the second reason is I could not stay serious!

Editing

No, there was no editing involved I had already set my camera on B&W and all I had to do was upload and post onto VB

In my camera bag

I don't have any equiptment in my camera bag, it is just me and my camera.

Feedback

If you'd want to catch a photo like this you would probably want a foggy day, because it will make the light seem more soft and less harsh.
