Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was taken in Prince George, British Columbia in the dining room of my mother in law's home.

Time

If my memory is true it was sometime in the afternoon.

Lighting

Light sources were a patio door and a large window flanking the sides of the table the vase of tulips were on.

Equipment

This was shot using my Nikon D80 and 50mm lens, no other equipment used.

Inspiration

There was some beautiful window light that I just had to use.

Editing

Just a quick raw process.

In my camera bag

I usually have a zoom lens just in case, and an extra battery and memory card.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to play around. The joy of shooting digital is that you have endless possibilities. Shoot as wide open as you can manage and something similar could be a result.
