My husband and I and our two youngest sons were vacationing on Michigan's Upper Peninsula and were touring the Soo Locks in Sault Saint Marie when we saw action in the water where Lake Superior and Lake Huron meet. The Osprey saw his catch, which we could not see, and he swooped down and caught the unlucky fish on his first try! I was thrilled to also catch a picture at just the right moment.

We were taking a boat tour of Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. It was mid-afternoon and I saw the osprey taking dives for fish. I must have snapped 40 times before I finally got this shot. Totally worth it!Lighting
