This was one of the very first images I shot with my DSLR. I didn't quite have the concept down of my ISO, and in order to get my meter to zero out, I had my shutter speed way up! The result I got was actually quite magical. The sunshine on the water was amazing! This will always be a favorite picture. I've continued to use the same technique on purpose for more recent pictures, but none of them have turned out nearly as nice.

I came home one evening with my mom, and this was what greeted me. I stayed outside as long as I could before it got dark out to take this picture.

I did a project for Shakespeare week last spring in my lighting class, and made my sister pose as Lady Macbeth. Lots of fun with strobes and costumes!
