We were traveling through the Sierra Mountains when we came upon this majestic mountain range covered with snow and low clouds. When we think of winter landscapes it is usually a snow scene. I liked the contrasts in this winter landscape - brown winter shrubs and grasses are a sharp contrast to the snow on the Sierras.
