Behind The Lens

Location

I have taken this photograph in Kochi, Kerala near the synagauge market

Time

I took this photo in the morning on a very cloudy day

Lighting

the rain has just stopped... the sun was under a thik cloud cover... it gave a nice filtered light.. i liked the environment

Equipment

I used Canon 7D with sigma 10-20 lense. I never use flash. It was hand held.

Inspiration

The light, the mood and the wet roads intrigued me to take the photo.

Editing

Very little color correction and light correction.

In my camera bag

I always use Canon. I have a 50, 85,10-20, 70-200 and a 100-400 in my bag.

Feedback

One should try to get the feel of the place and study the light before taking a photo. I personally feel that one should not keep on clicking randomly and process the shot later. One should sit there make the frame in mind first and then try to take the photo. In my case most of the time my photographs are framed and clicked in my mind first and then in my camera.
