Location
I took this photo during my nightly escapes from the hotel in Singapore . I love the vibrancy of the night in Singapore and never is a chance to see the city at night.Time
This was around 10 pm. I had planned to capture long exposure shots of the boats passing thought the bay. Saw a group practising martial arts and thought of capturing the whole area.Lighting
What I wanted to capture was to action but due to poor light under the bridge it was not possible without disturbing the group. So I decided to just take in the whole area in frame keeping in mind the leading lines. The group came as a blur but that was not the subject but the architecture of the area.Equipment
I used my trusted D5200 ( now replaced by D750) without flash balanced on the railing I.e without a tripod. The lens was 18-105 VR kit lens. I just believe that the man behind makes the photo and not the lens so no expensive stuff for me...Inspiration
Oh I love those night walks around the city. When my friends are in bed or on a drink , I am with my camera in the city. The architecture is what Caught my eye. And frankly it was one off the cuff pic not a planned one .. turned out nicely though.Editing
I use luminar for pp and noise reduction software . I am really into pp and love the technology . But whatever the tech good composition cannot be replaced..In my camera bag
Very basic ... D5200 Nikon now replaced by D750. Kit lenses and cheap and best primes 35 mm and 50mm 1.8D.Feedback
Look for interesting details , they are everywhere in corners , in streets, in buildings.. and deserted roads are a more interesting places to compose shots.
