The William Wallace Monument is in Stirling in Scotland, erected as a tribute to the great freedom fighter. For scale you can just make out people at the foot of the monument above the tree line. I shot this in winter with very low dark clouds shrouding the city and hills, as if by magic the sun shone through a hole in the clouds for a split second illuminating the monument so I had to be fast to get the shot as the Scottish weather changes so quickly.
