Junction of Sandia Crest Trails 130 and 94. Two very popular Sandia Crest Hiking-Skiing Trails. Trail 94 in the background of this picture leads up to a ridge overlooking Albuquerque, NM and spectacular views of the Rio Grande Valley. An old limestone cabin built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) around 1930 sets prominently on the ridge at the top of the mountain and Trail 94. Surprisingly, after the first "big" snow of 2015, I was the first person to snowshoe or ski up to the cabin and it had been two days since the snowstorm!
