Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was take in my parents house before they moved. The girl is my neice, "Lyss" and the dog is my Shitzu/Pug cross named Skipper. In the photo he was 14 years old and had already lost one of his eyes. He was totally blind within a year, and passed away when he was 15.

Time

I believe this was shortly before lunchtime.

Lighting

Ambient light.

Equipment

Finepix HS20EXR, no other equipment.

Inspiration

I take tons of pictures all the time. snap, snap, snap....

Editing

It might have done some minor cropping.

In my camera bag

Usually just the camera and some extra batteries, and a monopod.

Feedback

Have your camera with you at all times, make it an extension of your body like an extra hand. Take pictures of everything. In today's digital age, it doesn't really cost us much to 'shoot a roll'. You never know what you capture...sometimes there are things in the image you didn't even see when you're right there.
