We were on a West Coast mission to capture the Milky Way from as many locations as we could. Day 6 into our trip, been driving for hour upon hours - we checked into our hotel room and almost didn't go out this night from exhaustion. We checking the weather and said clear in Big Sur, so we took off and headed down from Monterey. Just think had we not gone this night....the next several nights were clouded in and marine layer didn't let any stars show through.
