wanted to capture the rain drops on my roses after it rained

many old ruins and temples seen while holidaying in Thailand

A Sunday drive and stopping at a water hole produced to me this amazing picture of the reflection of landscape into dark water

out fishing with the hubby on putting this fish in the bagi thought it looked a little sad

found this lovely coloured flower on a track at the beach

checking out the pretty flowers in our backyard and fond this blue bottle happily checking out the flowers also

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard and I think it is just beautiful. I am a self learning photography and am draw to close ups.

Time

This picture was taken around 5.30 in the evening, I was on my way out to feed the chickens and waiting on a phone call had my samsung galaxy phone in my bra and this beautiful roses was just there at the end of the path saying "Look at Me", so out came the phone and i took a few shots. yes I did remember to feed the chickens :)

Lighting

I think the natural light at that time of the day did all the work for me.

Inspiration

I was inspired to stop and take this picture by the rain drops on the petals and just it's beautiful colour. It was like wow

Editing

I did a small amount of cropping

In my camera bag

My photography bag which comes in the car everywhere I go consists of a Sony cx 5000 with an optical steadyshot 210 zoom which i use the most, a digital omega Fine xp 200 which is waterpfroof and is lots of fun to use when with the grandchildren at the beach, a Samsung galaxy s7 mobile phone, a small mirror that was given to me by Fungi photography, it captures fungi beautifully and great fun, a tripod.

No matter where you go or what your are doing always pop your camera bag in the car with you and remember to stop and smell the roses :)
