These pups were under the careful eye of their mothers, trying to catch the weak rays of the sun above the beach. I just kept moving forward very slow, keeping my lines of retreat open (like any animals, including humans, the seals are territorial and protective of their young. The image has been sharpened and tweaked in Lightroom - a dull grey winters morning!
