We met only a week earlier through mutual friends. I mentioned my plan to walk across San Francisco to the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge and shoot the sunrise. Everyone within earshot wanted to come along. It was turning into a nice little party. The day came and Lea is the only one who stuck to the plan. No one else could stay up all night. She even agreed to bring along a little black dress, change her clothes on site, climb up on a rock on an unfamiliar windy hillside, stare directly into the Sun, and let me take a photo of her from behind. She's pretty nice.
