Location

This photo was taken in Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon in Micronesia while on a scuba diving trip.

Time

This was taken in the afternoon after spending the day diving. I found this guy while exploring the compound

The toad looked so peaceful and owner of his universe

Editing

I did some cropping and lifted the exposure slightly

In my camera bag

As I travel with dive gear, snowboard gear, surf boards, hiking gear, etc, it is essential that I only take necessities and light weight gear. For water-based trips, I take my camera and dive housing with strobes and my go pro with movie lights. I also carry the small flash that comes with the camera for any land shots.

Feedback

The built-in electronic tripod/level seem to work really well. A slow progressive, non-threatening approach lets you get really close to animals... most of the time.
