I took this image in Aschaffenburg Germany during a business trip, I took several photos of this convent but this is the one with the best view of the bridge to my perspective!Time
If I recall correctly it was early afternoon on Sunday, I arrived and had lunch and was terribly tired but I didn't want to go to sleep cause the jet lag would be worst so I had some lunch and head out to walk around the city, after a few blocks I came into this park and decided to cross it and came into a small pond with what look to be a building but was covered, so I decided to walk around the pond and came to this section where I took the photo from.Lighting
I had a really hard time adjusting the camera since it was clouded but there was a lot of light in the ambient and wanted to take the best image possible, I'm mostly a self taught photographer and don't practice as much as I should so there's an adjustment period I have to make whenever I take my camera again.Equipment
The camera was a Nikon D5100, no flash and no tripod, the lens if I recall correctly was the standard 18-55mmInspiration
The reflection of the bridge, the way the arches become a complete circle due to the reflection is awesome, I've seen it before in great images from photographers far better than I am so the chance of taking one and consider myself in that category was awesome! LOLEditing
I had to do several, I'm not good in post processing, I'm completely self taught on that area so every time was a new lesson for meIn my camera bag
I have changed my camera, I upgraded from the D5100 to the D7200, also updated one of my lens (the one with I took this image with) but still have 3 lenses and do not go out of the bag, it's a 55mm f/1.8, a 18-105 and a 55-200, a tripod that needs replacement and 2 flashes that I can't never spell the name but I think it's called Youngo IVFeedback
I don't think I'm qualified to give advice to anyone, I can tell what has worked for me and that is: Don't be afraid of experimenting, use different settings and different lenses, take images from different views and when you see them in your computer you will see what settings and what angles works best, this is a constant learning, keep practicing!
