Location
Took this photo near an old abandoned ghost town in South East Alberta, Retlaw. It was left in a field near an old farmstead long since forgotten.Time
This was taken in late day afternoon.Lighting
The weather was very windy as a storm rolled in and I felt that the black and white really brought out the ambiance of it the storm and the rustic old and forgotten.Equipment
Nikon D3200, 17-55mm lens, no flash or tripod used,Inspiration
I loved the look of the old wagon, I loved the feel of mystique to wonder what travels it had had in its day. I loved the sky behind it and positioned to make sure the sky was well represented in the photo because it added to it.Editing
The only post-processing was adding my name and making it black and white. In my camera bag
Normally I carry the 17-55mm and a 55-200mm lens. Cleaning cloth and that is about it.Feedback
I would say that if you want to capture something similar you have to road trip a lot. Go through Google and ask questions about your area, map out a trip, stop at anything and everything. Be prepared for a lot of driving and stopping.
