This photo is of the sun setting through a smoke haze during wildfires in Wenatchee, WA, in September 2012. I had driven around trying to scope out some fire shots, and stopped my car when I saw the sun was about to set. I used a 50-300 mm zoom lens free-hand with my Canon EOS Rebel T2i. It became an other-worldly shot!
