The picture was taken looking over Pilots cove, Llanddwyn island, Anglesey North Wales.Time
It was late afternoon on a spring dayLighting
The sky was extremely moody with a storm heading my way, the sun broke through the clouds and I knew I didn't have much time before the rain startedEquipment
First time out with my first DSLR a Canon 400d with a standard 18-55 lens, I took a lot of shots that day trying different settings etc just like a kid with a new toyInspiration
I was itching to get out after weeks of bad weather and this was a spot I'd visited in the passed without a camera and vowed to come backEditing
I used paint shop pro x2 for the first, didn't know what I was doing but it worked, I'm very lazy when it comes to post proccess, I just use PS express now if neededIn my camera bag
I now carry a Canon 600d with a Samyang 14mm for landscape and night shots, a Sigma 105mm f2.8 ex dg for macro and potrait and iPhone 6 is with me 24/7 such a saviour when your not lugging a DLSR around with youFeedback
If I could give any advice it would be to do your own thing, take inspiration from your peers and then do it your way and forget the rules :)
