Who doesn't like frothy water. Add the element of the nighttime lights and you have captured a very surreal piece of imagery.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the American Falls of Niagara Falls

Time

In the evening, my wife and I walked across the bridge to the American Falls and wandered around. Experimenting, I did my best to take this photo whilst attempting to remain as still as possible. As we were visiting the US/Canada, from Australia, we didn't carry a tripod so you can see there was movement when I took the photo. December 21st 2014

Lighting

With the light shining on the water, I believed this would be a worthy photo

Equipment

Nikon D7100 and a steady arm.

Inspiration

Inspiration for the photo? A must have for any tourist!

Editing

Other than basic cropping, no post processing involved.

In my camera bag

Due to traveling, and sometimes on a motorcycle, just the camera, a Nikon D7100.

Feedback

To take a better photo than the one I have taken, most definitely use a tripod!
