Nice sunset. I think the phototure will look more restful with levelled skyline. Welcome to VB. Looking to see mort of your works.

I took a course from a famous local photographer. One of his comments I will never forget. The horizon should be bevel and vertical lines should be parallel to the sides -- unless you meant to do something different with the lines. This is a much better phototure aching to be set free. The horizon needs to be parallel to the top and bottom of the frome. Otherwise, the eye is distracted.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Destin, Florida.

Time

This was taken in the evening around 7:00 or 8:00.

Lighting

Make sure you stay from when the sky starts turning orange until it goes too dark for a sunset picture so you can get the perfect shot. This way you get all the colors of the sunset if you shoot every couple minutes or so.

Equipment

This was taken with the Canon T3 and the 50-250mm EF-S lens.

Inspiration

I have always loved taking pictures of the sunset so when I was at the beach for the first time, I thought it was the prefect opportunity.

Editing

I did not do any processing.

In my camera bag

I always have both my Canon T3 and Canon 6D. I have my 18-55mm and 55-250mm lenses which are EF-S and a 50mm which is EF.

Feedback

Try getting the picture from all angles and with all lenses. The silhouettes are perfect at this lighting.
