Location
Walking to work (fields outside Oxenhope, West Yorkshire). Roads were impassable by car because of an overnight snowfall. Fortunately, my then place of work was only a couple of miles away so walking was an option and the camera didn't mind coming along as snow is very photogenic.Time

Who needs to worry about lighting when you have snow?Equipment
Pocket digital (Canon).Inspiration
Moo was not so much annoyed as perplexed as to why I was trespassing on his patch. Had to stop to have an explanatory word & since he was standing so beautifully still for me, the photo more-or-less took itself.Editing

Varies on what I'm chasing. Now have Canon 1100 with a spare lens and therefore need a shoulder bag but the pocket digital still usually comes along for the ride.Feedback
Be where photogenic things are (and they can be anywhere). And make sure batteries are charged for rechargeables and put back in (experience! Once missed a fantastic seagull/kite stand-off because the battery was still in its charger 60 miles away). Always carry spare batteries for non-rechargeables. And pray for snow (no, don't, please don't - it was a bad winter). And don't be put put off by hairy beasties glowering at you - they're (usually) harmless.
