Behind The Lens

Location

Baltimore's Inner Harbor

Time

After 9PM

Lighting

I was up on Federal Hill in Baltimore which has a few street lights behind me but most of the light was in front of me.

Equipment

I used a Nikon F 100 film camera with Fuji 35 mm Velvia slide film on a tripod with shutter release.

Inspiration

I love looking at fireworks photos so I decided to try this myself.

Editing

Very little, sometimes Lighten or darken or maybe a crop.

In my camera bag

All my equipment is Nikon, either 35 mm film or digital but I do have one P&S Lumix camera.

Feedback

I would suggest first reading up on doing any kind of photography or watching Videos and watch them several times. In today's world it would be best to use a digital camera first if you don't have any experience with film. Film can be costly if you are not sure what you are doing then convert what you have learned from using the digital camera to film and only use top of the line film. I love the look of slide film. Your film can be developed and put on disc also have the slide film mounter so you can so it on a screen.
