whistmans wood is an ancient oak forest. The oldest trees are supposed to be 500 years old. the oaks are bizarrely curved and thick overgrown with moss and ferns. numerous moss-covered granite rocks make one's hard to move forward. No wonder there are many legends and myths about this forrest.
