During a rafting trip in the Grand Canyon we stopped & hiked up the Havasu Creek. This is just above where it joins the Colorado River. I have hiked around the Havasu reservation in the past, so it was fun to see the waters at this end too. THAT is actually the color of the water in many places along Havasu Creek, thanks to all the minerals in the soil, esp copper. June 2012
