Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken near the road outside the city of Odessa (Ukraine).

Time

I knew that already are blooming sunflowers. I drove out of town to look for the nearest field with sunflowers. It was sunset. July 12, 2015. 8:25 PM.

Lighting

I tried to find another point of view, because almost everybody shoot sunflowers. There was sunset, beautiful sky, nice colors and I had luck at that moment.

Equipment

This was shoot with Olympus OM-D E-M1 and Olympus PRO lens 12-40 f2.8 with flash setting on 2nd curtain.

Inspiration

I like sunflowers and I saw a lot of beautiful photos of theirs. I just tried to make another one which I can see every day like wallpapers on my macbook.

Editing

I used Lightroom with general color correction and dehaze tool.

In my camera bag

I usually have in my bag my Olympus E-M1 or E-M5 II with 12-40 f2.8 lens and Panasonic DG Summilux 25mm f1.4 and Olympus 60mm f2.8 macro. I have flash with me of course.
