I was trying to be the perfect hostess for our first big party at our new house, drink and set up the nikon for pictures of the fireworks. I ended up not doing any of them very well! I was sober at the end of the night, ignored half the guests and only got a fraction of the shots! Live and learn.

Weeds are pretty too

I'm still making my way through raw files from the 4th of July. I'm trying to edit them all!

I caught this when the sun was casting the perfect glow.

I had thought out a shot for 3 days. Well, working with little kids it typically doesn't go as planned. So I have a sillhouette shot of them!

They are the oddest roosters. They think they're pets or people. They follow me around all day like a loyal dog.

When I fist saw this man and his horse and couldn't stop smiling. It reminded me of the little town I grew up in and simple joys no longer appreciated

We had some wicked storms roll through St. Louis last night. No power for 8 hours. So what to do? Take photos ofcourse!!
