Location
Tucson, AZ at an old water processing plant turned into a wildlife sanctuary called sweet water refuge. the original subject was his mother, but this little bobcat came hopping out of the brush while I was shooting his mother. he was a real gem!Time
Mid morning and coolLighting
It was clear and there was plenty of lightEquipment
I used a Nikon D7100 with a sigma 150- 500 mm lens, no tripod and no flash was neededInspiration
We had been looking for the bob cats for about six months. being a novice wildlife photographer I liked the challenge of finding these cats.Editing
Small amount of sharpening and brightening but not much.In my camera bag
Usually my 400 mm lens, flash, filters, photography cards "I am a rookie", cleaning supplies and my tripodFeedback
This photo capture was possible by being patient and really just being in the right place at the right time , but sometimes I guess that's all it takes to get a lifer like this little kitten was for me.
