I recognise this. Spotted them when visiting NW Tas last month 😊

Behind The Lens

Location

Photo is of the cabins we were staying whilst on a motorcycling holiday in Deloraine, Tasmania.

Time

Shot was taken early morning - a beautiful summers blue sky and no wind - perfect for riding!

Lighting

Lighting was pretty much nature perfect.

Equipment

Camera was a Canon powershot S3 IS, wide open at 6mm

Inspiration

Had gone down to the lake to take early morning photos of the black swans, but as the sun rose I looked back I saw the cabins and their reflection upon the lake.

Editing

Little bit of saturation that is all.

In my camera bag

Nowdays I'm on a Fujifilm XT-1 with 18-135mm and 60mm macro lens, plus the trusty Iphone :)

Feedback

Look behind you! Sometimes we get so focused on subjects in front of the lens we forget to look around us.
