This old farmhouse has been vacant for a long time and suffered from neglect to the point of some of the outbuildings collapsing. Recently, it was bought and is being completely restored to its former beauty, by descendants of the original family who owned it! I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon speaking with 3 generations of the family, all women, who went in together to buy the farm. They gave me a tour, and allowed me to take as many pictures as I wanted. This old farmhouse is amazing, I fell in love with it. I could only go around the main floor, as the top 3 floors were not safe enough. The building was built in 1880. It is being restored by a team of volunteers, and will (hopefully) be added to the historical building list once finished. I plan on staying close and watching the progress of this lovely farms rebirth.
