The captive bird seems to display temerity that springs from freedom and friendship that it enjoys, Your girl looks tentative ... an uncertainty borne of lack of understanding of YOUR expectation. Still, she is composed and up to the task. She is or trying to articulate something... all the while, confident that her charge will stand by her as they stand by each other. I do not detect a sense of nervousness in the picture. More of a split second quizzical moment-of-truth wanting to know what you want ....of her.. without the cockatiel taking flight. Hence, to me.. there is a sense of the dramatic in the photo.. but clearly natural and not contrived, uncoached yet comfortable. Treasure the expressions in this well taken shot.
