Behind The Lens

Location

Laguna Manati, north of Cancún, Mexido

Time

For my bird pictures, as many photographers is better either sunrise or sunset. I am more tha a sunset person for birds, I like to tahe photographs of them as they return home

Lighting

No doubt sunset or sunrise light is the light you want, in this case I did it at sunset, because it is not close to home and the light hits the mangroove in the angle that I wanted

Equipment

For my bird pictures I usually ise a Canon 7D, with a 70-200mm f/2.8 and occasionaly with a 2x teleconverter.

Inspiration

I love bird, they are one of my favorite group of animals to photograph, ther shapes, colors, and grace attracts me more tna any other group.

Editing

I did just a little sharpening, clarity and very low saturation

In my camera bag

In my bag I carru just a few items. Camera body Canon 7D, Lenses 24-105mm f/4 and 70-200mm f/2.8, Gitzo carbon fiber tripod with Acratech ball head, cable shutter release, ND filters.

Feedback

Patience, and study your subjects habits.
