Behind The Lens

Location

In Calver, Derbyshire.

Time

It was taken in the morning just before Lunch time.

Lighting

The day was cloudy and the canopy of trees created a natural light softener with occasional shafts of sunlight penetrating through.

Equipment

The shot was taken on a canon 5D Mark II

Inspiration

I loved the reflection in the water- and the Murrow like qualities due to the stillness of the day

Editing

Only very minimal. I increased the contrast and toned down the brightness.

In my camera bag

A macro lens, a flash and a tripod.

Feedback

Look for interesting angles when shooting reflections. Place yourself lower down than you might otherwise do and look at the difference it makes to the shot.
