Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in Johnston Gardens in Aberdeen

Time

It was taken around mid afternoon

Lighting

It was a dull day in Aberdeen at the time of taking this shot

Equipment

I used a Panasonic Lumix LZ2O Bridge camera no flash was used I used a a tripod , Aperture f 1.0, iso1600,

Inspiration

I was out Walking WITH my dog and as usual I took my camera with me and this was one of my first attempts of taking a pic that captures the movement of the water and I was extremely happy with the outcome

Editing

The only post-processing was to correct the lighting with the standard editing software that came with my windows pc at the time

In my camera bag

I have my two cameras in my bag one Lumix DMC-LZ20 Bridge camera and my Nikon D3200 with 2 lenses the standard nikkor-18-55mm which came with the camera and a nikkor 33-300 zoom. I also take a tripod or mono pod with me and some tissues or lens wipes and a carrier bag just in case it starts to rain

Feedback

practice and to have patients, I took about 20 shots of this waterfall to get this one shot that I liked, and to use a tripod or mono pod to help keep the camera steady
