Location
On the lake shore, right in front of the house. This is one of our many puppies, named Medo (meaning "Bear") since he loked like one. It was his first foray in the "wilderness" and he was very interested in his surroundings. And then he grew tired and sat down, with his back against the sunlight...Time
12:38:48Lighting
Contre-jour, with POV low down to be at the puppy's height. Camera flash was used to lighten the front.Equipment
SONY F-828, hand-held, flash used against the sunlight.Inspiration
Look at him! :)))Editing
Minimal post-processing the routinely used workflow when resizing for upload. Nothing worth mentioning as an extra. In my camera bag
No bag. Photo jacket with wto cameras in the pockets, along with some filters, batteries, and memory cards. The rest is more what boyscouts use in order to be able to improvise things if and when needed: firemaker, knife, cord, reflecting foil...Feedback
Think gentle thoughts. Do not scare the animal, nor force it to do what you want. Let it regard you as a piece of normal surrounding, and become relaxed. Watch for interesting moments and react as promptly and quietly as you can. Let the happening flow: do not change, channel nor insist on anything. Behave lovingly and caringly. Love the animal and it will love you right back!
