Not had a chance to take any images this year in misty and foggy conditions due to work and Essex not experiencing fog as often as we did last year. This image was taken at Hatfield Forest in Essex near to my home and was an ancient hunting ground for kings and Gentry hundreds of years ago, the National Trust still upkeep this forest to the same environment as when it was used for hunting. It is now a wonderful place to walk the dog early in the morning.

With little time to venture out with the camera I thought I would make a quick visit to Ashridge before work. The weather has been less than generous

The sunrise on this trek to Dunstaburgh Castle was very uninteresting, so the rocks and water movement made for a better display.
