Location
I took this photo on what everyone in our town calls 'the low roads" on Crowley's Ridge.Time
This photo was taken around 2 in the afternoon.Lighting
The sun was shining through the trees perfectly lighting the foreground.Equipment
I used a Nikon D50 with a Nikkor wide angle lens.Inspiration
The lighting of the sun just so happened to be peeking through the trees at this particular time of day and inspired this fall shot with the changing leaves.Editing
I do not usually do a whole lot of editing to my photos. I like to keep it pretty natural. With this photo in particular, I brightened it and added a little bit of contrast. In my camera bag
I usually have my camera (Nikon D3300) and the two standard lenses that came with it, a charger, extra batteries, mini tripod, extra SD cards, lens cleaning cloths, and an extra camera strap.Feedback
Be patient- don't try to rush the photo if it isn't quite how you want it. Once the photo is set up how you want it to look, take multiple shots.
