This was taken early evening at about 630

Lighting

The lighting was pretty amazing . The sun was starting to go down. Creating the perfect light on the clouds .

Equipment

Nikon D5200 with the Nikon 18-140mm . I took this shot free handed .

Inspiration

I'm super passionate about weather . I'm a storm chaser so in the spring you can find me on the open plains chasing . This storm has some of the best structure to it .

Editing

A I do very little post processing . I just did a little bit on color correction , brought the contrast up . I also brought some highlights up .

In my camera bag

My Nikon d5200 , my Tokina 11-16mm, my Nikon 18-140mm . I always carry extra memory cards and batteries . I also never leave home without my netural density filer and my polorizer .

Feedback

Lighting is always key to any photo. Golden hour which is the time right before sunset is the best time to shoot . A good tripod is key to , I took this free handed because I was actually in a moving car . ISO most of the time I shoot in 100 to 125 . I usually always have my appeture set to about f8 or f11 this helps me get sharp crisp images .
